Apocalyptica is currently on tour playing their classic album Apocalyptica Plays Metallica By Four Cellos. Eicca Toppinen has said that the band are going to start writing a new album, for likely release in 2019. The last album w as s 2015’s Shadowmaker.

Eicca Toppinen said that the band is “super hungry to get into writing new music in the studio next winter.”
