Anthrax Guitarist Scott Ian To Unveil Art Collection Made From Guitar Playing


 

Scott Ian, a legend of thrash metal with his band Anthrax will unveil an art collection made from guitar performance. Working with Los Angeles art team SceneFour, Ian’s work on the fretboard resulted in the visuals seen in the collection. Other artists who have done similar works include Page Hamilton of Helmet, Dave Lombardo of Suicidal Tendencies and Dead Cross, and Bill Ward, formerly of Black Sabbath. Anthrax is still touring behind 2016’s Worship Music (Megaforce/Nuclear Blast) and while on a break from the road, Ian’s “One Man Riot” spoken-word tour of Australia will kick off on September 24 and will include stops in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
