After a record-breaking 2023, Rocklahoma returns Friday, August 30, Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1 to Rockin Red Dirt Ranch in Pryor, Oklahoma — just outside Tulsa — with its biggest lineup yet. America’s Biggest Labor Day Party will feature headlining performances from Avenged Sevenfold and Evanescence (Friday), Disturbed, and A Day To Remember (Saturday), and Slipknot and Lamb Of God (Sunday),along with a huge lineup of top rock and metal bands, including Halestorm, Mastodon, Anthrax, Skillet, Clutch, Nothing More, Kerry King, Coal Chamber and Tom Keifer, among others. 2024 marks the Rocklahoma debut appearance for Avenged Sevenfold, and return headlining slots for both Disturbed and Slipknot. Saint Asonia Share Video for New Version of “Wolf” Featuring John Cooper (Skillet)


Hard rockers, Saint AsoniaAdam Gontier (ex-Three Days Grace) and Mike Mushok (Staind), with Cole Gontier (bass) and Cody Watkins (drums) – have shared a video for the new version of their song “Wolf” (the original appearing on the Introvert/Extrovert album). It features guest vocals from Skillet‘s John Cooper. The collaboration was born when both bands toured together in the spring and fall of last year. The band hit the road again in Spring. CONCERT REVIEW: Theory of A Deadman – Skillet – Saint Asonia Live at Roadrunner Boston


 

The Rock Resurrection tour featuring Theory of a Deadman, Skillet, and Saint Asonia rolled into Boston at one of the city’s newest concert venues, Roadrunner. The show was sold out well in advance, so there was a long line of concert attendees, waiting to make their way into the building. As the crowd gathered towards the stage eagerly awaiting the start of the first band.

ALBUM REVIEW: Palisades – Reaching Hypercritical


 

It doesn’t seem like it’s been long since Palisades joined the post-hardcore scene. On the contrary, though, it’s now been almost ten years since their debut, Outcasts, dropped, and Reaching Hypercritical (Rise Records) their latest release, is the fifth album to come from the band. While the previous works have been on the lighter end of the subgenre, the singles released have featured some heavier moments in line with the heavier subject matters in the album dealing with mental health.
