Alongside Integrity, Ringworm are one of Cleveland, Ohio’s premiere Hardcore outfits. Formed in 1989 the band’s original run lasted until 1994 and yielded the classic The Promise debut album. Since their 1999 reunion, the band have been prolific with Seeing Through Fire being their ninth release and first since 2019’s Death Becomes My Voice.

New York Hardcore legends Sick of It All have shared a new video for their song ‘Bull’s Anthem”!” The clip features fans and some famous faces from fellow punk bands. The track comes from their last album Wake The Sleeping Dragon!, which they dropped in 2018 via Century Media Records and Fat Wreck Chords, who put out the CD and vinyl version in the US. We were back at the Worcester Palladium for the massive fall tour co-headline tour of Municipal Waste and Napalm Death, with Sick Of It All and Take Offense as support! The venue had been home to the annual Rock and Shock all weekend, “3 days of Metal and Horror”. The weekend had already seen the likes of Korpiklanni, Eluveitie, Revocation, with locals like Vivisepulture, and Ice Giant (Day 1) and Day 2 was dominated by the folks over at Psychopathic Records with the Insane Clown Posse and all their friends as well, with a few local bands opening on the second stage upstairs.Continue reading

Brutal Assault 2019 has added another bunch of bands for the next edition of the festival! New bands added include Parkway Drive, Azusa, Nordjevel, Combichrist, Caspian, Violent Magic Orchestra, Caspian, Déluge, Frog Leap, and Hexis. the bill with more to come. One-hundred and thirty bands will play in the ancient and legendary Josefov Fortress castle on four stages all weekend from 7 -10 August 2019. Modern Crossover Thrash meets the godfathers of the genre when Iron Reagan and Sacred Reigh team up for new tour dates this spring. Joining them will be reactivated hardcore legends Leeway and Enforced. The tour begins May 9 in Asbury Park, NJ and ends May 19 in Brooklyn, New York at the annual Black and Blue Bowl. Iron Reagan will first storm the shores of Europe this spring for tour dates with Madball (March 7-17) and the USA with Sick of it All.
