Hellfest, held every year just outside of Paris, in Clisson, France, continues to up the ante every year with forever growing and impressive lineups! Taking place from June 27 to June 30, 2024, Hellfest will once again be four days long and over 200 bands appearing on six stages. For 2024, the headliners for each night will be Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Metallica, and Foo Fighters. Graspop Metal Meeting 2024 Books Tool, Machine Head, Alice Cooper, Bruce Dickinson, Corey Taylor, Deep Purple, Electric Callboy, Megadeth and More


Graspop Metal Meeting, one of the most acclaimed metal festivals in the world has finalized more names for their 2024 new lineup. Final headliner Alice Cooper has joined the bill with 83 other bands for year 27! Bruce Dickinson, Corey Taylor, Deep Purple, Electric Callboy and Megadeth as part of 130+ other bands. The fest takes place from Thursday 20 June through Sunday 23 June 2024 at Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, November 25th at the link below.

ALBUM REVIEW: Blood Command – World Domination


 

World Domination is a big old task. Both in terms of, um, well, actually taking over the world, but also in terms of taking everything about the fifth full-length from Norwegian collective Blood Command in. Twenty tracks, and everything from Black Metal to slick pop, via snarling punk, metallic stomping Hardcore, and even the odd pause for breath (though only a sharp intake before heading off somewhere else, into urban beats, or shimmery synths, or kicking someone’s head in).

ALBUM REVIEW: Kvelertak – Endling


 

Kvelertak (Norwegian for ‘Stranglehold’) are one of the more unique offerings hailing from the land of mystical forests and flowing fjords, and are anything but your typical Black Metal band from the region. In fact any hints of the sound are very few and far between on their fifth album Endling (Rise Records), with the influence used sparingly.

ALBUM REVIEW: Beachheads – Beachheads II


It is always refreshing when metalheads are not afraid to show their appreciation for genres other than Metal – especially if it means expanding their songwriting chops into entirely new territories. Kvelertak Rebooks European Tour For 2022


Norwegian retro rockers Kvelertak rebooked new dates for their rescheduled European and UK tours, postponed from 2020 due to the pandemic. The extensive 43-show tour will take place January – March 2022. Joining them on select dates will be Planet Of Zeus, Blood Command, and Astro Saur. Tickets are on sale now for all dates. The band released their stellar album Splid in 2020 and will release in music in 2022.
