Baroness to Perform “Gold and Grey” in Full on Upcoming Livestream

Heavy Rock legends Baroness will perform their last album Gold & Grey (review here) in full and live for the first time ever performance, on Sept. 10 at 8 pm Eastern as a livestream from Long Island City’s Culture Lab LIC at The Plaxall Gallery. Tickets, which are $14.99 and available now via the link below. The link will grant access to the premier livestream event as well as unlimited viewing for 48 hours beginning at the time of redemption. The concert is available throughout the weekend, ending at 11:59 pm Eastern on Sunday, Sept. 13. Roadburn 2020 Books Earth, False, Sylvaine, Body Void, Sólveig Matthildur and More!


Roadburn Festival 2020 has booked its final bands for the upcoming fest this April. Kicking things off with the new bands Earth will perform as part of Emma Ruth Rundle’s curated event, celebrating thirty years, as well as a solo performance by Dylan Carlson. Also, part of Emma’s event are GC favorites False and Sylvaine. Additional artists joining the main bill are Body Void, Sólveig Matthildur, Dynfari (second set) and Rubin “Zwoelboy” van Nistelrooy, Erik “El Cahole” van de Beek, and Frankie Fuzz AKA The Ballet Bombs. Taking place April 16-19th in Tilburg, NL, weekend passes are sold out as are Thursday, Friday and Saturday day passes. The fest also announced their 2020 Full Bleed Art series, which includes giants of the mediums such as John Baizley, Richey Beckett,David V. ALBUM REVIEW: Baroness – Gold & Grey


Baroness is back with a new album, and once again it is one of the centerpieces of the release schedule for this year. Still, a band that does things on their own terms, in a DIY punk rock way, but still creating heady music for music lovers by music lovers. Gold & Grey (Abraxan Hymns) is an album that arrives with a justified glow of hype, especially following Purple. Baroness Shares New Video and Song For “Seasons”


Baroness is currently on tour with Deafheaven and Zeal and Ardor. By all accounts, they are playing a few new songs live, as they prepare for the June release of their new album. Gold & Grey is due out on June 14th from the bands’ own label Abraxan Hymns. You can watch the new video for the stunning track “Seasons” right now. The clip takes fans behind-the-scenes into the recording for Gold & Grey, featuring pre-production footage from the singer/guitar player John Baizley’s Philadelphia basement studio. In the vibrant and ever-changing Dutch city of Tilburg, an influx of heavy music fans from all over the world are taking over the town as Roadburn Festival is ready to kick off.
