The Brainsqueeze Tour. Holy shit this is one of the best tour packages I’ve seen in a good number of years. Stacked from start to finish with veteran bands performing at a level I haven’t seen from them in some years. Dead Heat started things off, I was unaware of them beforehand but left me intrigued and wanting more, plus the crowd at the Brooklyn Monarch showed up early, excited, and ready to throw down for this mosh fest of an evening.Continue reading

Ghoul Share “Noxious Concoctions” Single from Upcoming EP


 

Cannibal splatterthrashers, Ghoul, have just released “Noxious Concoctions” as a single. The song is the title track from their new EP, due out February 02nd, via the Tankcrimes record label. This is their first new studio output since 2016’s Dungeon Bastards full-length. Right after its release, they head out on the Brainsqueeze tour, supporting Municipal Waste. Maryland Deathfest to Return in 2024

In a statement posted on social media, Maryland Deathfest has announced they will return! After a hiatus for 2023 the fest will return from May 23rd to May 26th, 2024. In a message to fans the co-founders of MDF discussed the hiatus and the the return as well as new dates for 2024. MDF 2024 will be their 20th fest in Baltimore. They did announce that aftert the upcoming London Desertfest, they are discontinuing all other festivals they have put on, Netherlands Deathfest, California Deathfest, and more will be no more. MDF has operated for almost 20 years, put on 19 fests, and expanded to a global footprint, all while giving a greater voice to Death Metal, Avant-Garde Metal, Stoner Doom, and more genres, perhaps as much or more than any fest in the world. Municipal Waste, Pig Destroyer, Ghoul, Skinless, Putrid Pile, No Mas and More Booked for Full Terror Assault 2022


America’s only European-style Open Air Metal fest is Full Terror Assault Open Air 2022, just outside of Chicago. Last year’s event was headlined by Exodus and sold- out and they are aiming to top last years’ event. The first wave of bands for 2022 includes Municipal Waste, Pig Destroyer, Ghoul, Skinless, Putrid Pile, No Mas and many more acts to be announced soon. FTA Open Air takes place from September 7th to 10th 2022 at Hogrock Campground, in Cave In Rock, Illinois. Passes are on sale now at the links below.
