News: Coffins Announces Upcoming US Tour

Tokyo death doom metallers Coffins have confirmed a string of upcoming US dates with Noothgrush. They will be releasing an upcoming, yet to be titled split with Ilsa, coming out in 2016 via Relapse Records. The split is currently being mastered by Brad Boatright (Sleep, Noothgrush) and features artwork by Joshy of Ilsa.

Planes Mistaken For Stars will be reuniting for a summer tour behind the upcoming reissue of their Mercy album which was remastered by Brad Boatright, out via Deathwish Inc on July 14, 2015. Reports of new music has also been circulating but no further information is available at this time.

Skinless is streaming “Serpenticide,” off of their forthcoming album Only the Ruthless Remain out June 2, 2015 via Relapse Records below. Featuring their classic late ’90s lineup of founding guitarist Noah Carpenter, vocalist Sherwood Webber, bassist Joe Keyser and drummer Bob Beaulac, with the recent addition of second guitar gun, Dave Matthews, and the record was recorded by Tom Case at Edie Road Studio and Doomsday Bunker Studio, both in upstate New York, with vocals tracked by Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage, Primitive Man etc.) at Flatline Audio in Denver, CO, and the entire monster mastered by Brad Boatright (Obituary, Nails, Integrity etc.) at Audiosiege in Portland, OR.
