Alesana Recording Live Record in December

alesana

North Carolina pop metallers Alesana is recording their first ever live album on December 11th at Southland Ballroom in their hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina. The show will cost five dollars and a set list will be unveiled early to get fans familiarized with what to sing along to. Labelmates The Funeral Portrait will be on the bill, as well as Iselia, Motiv, Cabaret Runaway, and Vanity Strikes.

Vocalist/guitarist Shawn Milke commented on this:

“We are thrilled to finally be recording a live album,” says vocalist/guitarist Shawn Milke. “It is something we’ve considered doing for years and finally all of the pieces to make it happen have fallen into place. After touring for the last ten years it will be great to capture the energy and intensity of our performance into a collection of live recordings for our fans and friends to enjoy!”

The band is currently finishing the third installment of the Annabel trilogy, which is inspired by “the Time Quintet” book series by Madeleine L’Engle.
