The last time Alice Cooper played Colorado Springs was 2010, and he brought with him his usual armory of ghouls and guillotines. Six years later, we don’t quite get Alice, but we get something so close you swear you’re in Alice’s big top of terror. DragonTown Dan kicked off Halloween weekend at Stargazers Theatre in beautiful Colorado Springs.

DragonTown Dan is the areas very own Alice Cooper tribute, complete with props including the two-headed wolf baby prop from Alice’s Brutal Planet tour. Opening with ‘Hello Hooray’, they blistered through a set of 18 hits while nailing each phase of Alice’s musical career, and ending of course with ‘School’s Out’. Managing to capture the shock value one would expect when they go to see Alice, the band is also filled with amazingly talented musicians who take center stage when it’s their turn, and yield it when it’s somebody else’s. This is one show that hopefully will get a full tour soon so the world can discover the party that is DragonTown Dan.
