Decapitated Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping

In case you missed the news over the weekend, all four members of Decapitated were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping a woman following their show in Spokane, Washington. According to the Spokesman-Review, the woman reported to police just before 2 a.m. on Sept. 1st, and the band members were arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office after their Friday night concert in Santa Ana. They are currently being held at the Los Angeles County Jail on charges of first-degree kidnapping, and the case is under investigation by the department’s Special Victims Unit. Defense attorney Steve Graham said he was hired by the band on Thursday, and released this statement, “There is another side to this. We have witnesses that can testify to the fact that the accuser came to visit the band of her own free will and left on good terms. I made it clear that I could get the guys up here ASAP and they would cooperate.

It’s safe to say that they will not be finishing their U.S. tour, but they obviously have more important things to worry about. In Spokane, punishment for class A felony is imprisonment for twenty years or more, and for class B felony is eight years or more. Stay tuned for more details as we get them.
