Babymetal’s Guitarist Mikio Fujioka Has Died At The Age Of 36

Babymetal have confirmed that their Kami Band guitarist Mikio Fujioka, known to fans as Ko-Gami, has passed away. The band shared this statement on Twitter, “The “Little” Guitar Kami of #BABYMETAL ‘s #Kamiband has passed away in the METAL GALAXIES. We hope that he is now with his GUITAR MASTER A.Holdsworth and enjoying an epic guitar session with him. We are the one, Together, We’re the only one, You are the one, Forever #RIP #THEONE.”

Mikio’s wife explained on his Twitter account that he fell from an observation deck on December 30th, and died on January 5th due to his injuries. She added, “Everyone, fans, people concerned, I would be pleased if you could love him living at full speed in future. Thank you very much.”
